Chris and Louise Ridley welcomed Daisy Ridley into the world on April 10, 1992 in Westminster, London. In addition to having two half-sisters from his father's first marriage, she is the youngest of three sisters. Daisy's only connection to the performing arts came from her great uncle Arnold Ridley, an actor who was once quite well-known.
Daisy had always loved movies and watched a lot of them as a
child. Her favourite was the movie "Matilda," and Daisy would imitate
the lead actress in front of her parents. Ever since she was old enough to
desire anything for her profession, she had wanted to be an actor.
She entered at age 9 and attended the Tring Park School for
Performing Arts till she graduated after receiving a scholarship to attend. She
